Little Timber Farms, once known as Timberedge Farm began in the 1940s as a small dairy farm. In 1970 Murl and Sue Nord purchased the farm from Sue's parents and expanded the dairy business. They continued to have the dairy until 2002 when the dairy cows were sold and the farm was transitioned to a rotational grazing cow/calf operation.
In 2012 Rachel Gray and her husband Al , purchased the farm from Rachel's parents and continued the cow/calf operation. Over time Rachel realized that her passion for developing and raising high quality heifers was something that could be developed into a niche market. The decision was made to transition into full time heifer development. With the change also came the need for more help and their son Nick came back home with his family to join the operation.
